Sri Ayyappan Bal Gurukul

IDF opens its 26th Bal Gurukul - Sri Ayyappan Bal Gurukul in Bangalore on 2nd Dec. 2010

Sri Ayyappan Bal Gurukul is joint venture by Indian Development Foundation and Ayyappa Seva Sangham towards catering to the educational needs of the underprivileged children living in and around Jayamahal area in Bangalore.

Sri Ayyappan Bal Gurukul was inaugurated at the premises of Sri Ayyappan Primary, Nursery and High School, Jayamahal, Bangalore on the 2nd December 2010.

Mr. Ravindran Pillai, President of Ayyappa Seva Sangham, Mr. K. V. Unnikrishnan, Secretary of Ayyappa Seva Sangham , Mr. A.G. Prakash, Sri Ayyappan Primary, Nursery and High School and Mr. Prabhakaran, Manager of the School appreciated the work of IDF.

IDF team included - Dr. S. Franklin, Manager-SR, Mr. Samuel Vincent, Zonal Officer and Mr. C. A. Mathew, Corporate Manager.
IDF Social Ambassadors included – Mrs. Shobha Ramakrishnan, Mrs. Prabha Pillai and Master Nishchith.

Meenakshi and Jenimma from Sri Ayyappan School recalled their participation with IDF while Nishchith enthralled the students by playing hit numbers.

Earlier Miss Mohana Bai invoked God’s blessings for the success of the Bal Gurukul while Mrs. Sujatha Hari proposed a vote of thanks.
