An honour to be one of the panelists at the "SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PANEL DISCUSSION" organised by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad as part of their Empressario Startup Summit 2019. The topic was "The growing Bottom of the Pyramid market of India , the policies and practice of Skill Development, Education, Women Empowerment, in rural India through CSR". The audience was really great so also the other panelists... The future of India is bright and brilliant.

New Year opens with 5 new Bal Gurukuls for the tribal/ rural children in Mangaon, District Raigad, Maharashtra.

Sr Divya and Sr Rubina visited IDF and explained the work done in Mangaon villages for women and adolescents.

Salutations to the nine social interns from SIES College of Management, Nerul for successfully completing their 10-day long internship with over 60 hours of social work. 
The students, Priyanka, Lipika, Chirag, Parth and Rashee taught in Mumbai Urdu School and Oscar School at Andheri.
While Geetha, Saina, Kalai Arasi and Bhushan taught at St Mathews School and
S.T.S. Mission School at Malad....

Santas spreading smiles

Santas from ITM Business School led by IDF Social Ambassador Ms.Priscilla Mistry     visited 4 different locations and distributed clothes, blankets, bed-sheets and toys mobilized by ITM volunteers through their internship with Indian Development Foundation.

1)Lokmat newspaper office at Sanpada for distribution of clothes, blankets and bedsheets to families in tribal belt in Maharashtra.

2)Girija Welfare Association, an Orphanage for boys and Old Age Home.

3)Jeevan Jyoti Ashram, Home for HIV infected and TB patients rehab centre.

4)Ashalaya Orphanage for boys and girls separate row houses for the kids.

Painting colors of Happinez

A group 20 students from International school of Hyderabad , ICRISAT, Patancheru, Hyderabad.

Along with three faculty members visited IDF Railway(colony) High school Bal gurukul located at Chilkalguda, Secundrabad and painted the class rooms. 

They came fully loaded with paints, brushes, sand papers, etc and did a wonderful job.
In addition to painting the class rooms, the students also interacted with the Bal gurukul children.

The other way round , the students of the Bal gurukul thanked the ISH students with hand made paper flowers.

Student Exchange Program@Hyderabad

A Student exchange program was organized on 08 September 2016 for the students of class 9th and 10th  of Delhi school of excellence, Attapur with the students of class 8th,9th and 10th of ASBP at the Andhra sawaswati Balika Patashala at Feelkhana, Hyderabad.

Two sessions took place where exchange of knowledge as well as fun was noticed the topics being 'Pollution and Global warming' for one batch and 'Water Conservation' for the other .

the sessions .

Annam Methipara Bal Gurukul @ Thirumudivakkam, Chennai.

Indian Development Foundation in collaboration with Sri Shanthi Anand Vidyalaya at Thirumudivakkam, Chennai relocated and relaunched Annam Methipara Bal Guruku @ Thirumudivakkam, Chennai on 16th July 2016.

Annam Methipara Bal Gurukul sponsored by Mr. Tomi Methipara, Chicago through IDF USA was functioning at Saidapet, Chennai from Nov. 2012. From 2016-17, we have relocated the Bal Gurukul to a new place. Our special thanks Mr. Tomi Methipara and family and friends of IDF USA for supporting the project.

Thanks to Social Ambassador Mrs. Rajammal and many others for providing support to the children.

Universal power of goodness continues......

NSS volunteers from UPG College of Management, Mumbai visited Indian Development Foundation to discuss various upcoming social projects for 2016-17 and provide support for various causes. Medical camp

Medical camp conducted in IDF Srujanavani Bal gurukul area, Midhani, Kanchanbagh , Hyderabad for all children and adults today in association with Srujanavani and Seva Bharati. Thanks to our goodness ambassadors Dr. Nikhil, Dr. Divya , Dr. Dinesh and Mr. Varun, project developer IDF who helped in conducting the camp. Check up, counselling was done and free medicines were given to patients. Jai Ho!

Food for cause - A novel scheme
The Principal, Vice Principal, Co-ordinators and the students from Vibgyor Kids, Malad, Mumbai presenting contribution for IDF health-education projects. The parents of the kindergarten students of Vibgyor Kids came together for a cause, prepared delicacies, put up a stall in the school and the proceeds were pledged for Indian Development Foundation. IDF salutes all the parents and the entire Vibgyor Kids schoolteam for the act of kindness. Jai ho !!!
