IDF's Cover of Compassion

Our Campaign of Cover of Compassion Continued once again with B.Ed. students from Smt. Kapila Khandvala College of Education, Juhu, Mumbai gathered at our project (Vimala Dermatological Centre, Versova, Yari Road, Andheri West, Mumbai) to stitch quilts for leprosy patients.

We have mobilised cloth cut-pieces (chindi) from various sources and these students have stitched the quilts (godhadi in local language) and will present it to the inmates and childrens of the centre and the excess will be shared with other projects.

Our Especial thanks to Suman maa and the Suresh Bhai for helping us to mobilise the cloth cut pieces and also Bharggavi Rawal mam for guiding the Students to make Quilts.God Bless all. Jai ho........👍

           

Distribution of Blankets

बस्तीः बस्ती सदर विकास खण्ड के गौरा गांव में निर्विकल्प सेवा संस्थान द्वारा इण्डियन डेवलपमेन्ट फाउन्डेशन मुम्बई और युवा विकास समिति के सहयोग से असहाय, गरीब वृद्धों में कम्बल का वितरण किया गया। सेवा संस्थान के सचिव विशाल श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि भुखमरी और ठंड से मौते तब होती है जब हमारी जागरूकता और संवेदना मर जाय। समाज के समर्थ लोग संवेदनशील हो तो किसी की भूख और ठंड से मौत नहीं हो सकती। जरूरत है मानवीय संवेदनाओं और सहयोग की परम्परा को मजबूत करने की। इस अवसर पर राममूर्ति मिश्र, दुर्गेश श्रीवास्तव, वृहस्पति पाण्डेय, रामदीन, दुःखीराम, मुनक्का देवी, रामललन, सत्यनरायन आदि मौजूद रहे।
