On account of World Earth
Day, Indian Development Foundation (IDF) organized Competitions to raise
awareness on environment protection and also to appreciate the offerings of our
beautiful planet Earth. Competitions viz; Painting, Quiz and Slogan writing formed
the part of the event. Approx 100 students from various schools participated in
the event. The theme for the competitions was “Save our Planet Earth” and students drew various pictures stating the present state and preventive measures for our planet.
Prizes were given for Top 5 paintings and also consolation prizes for
the other best 10 paintings. Special prize were given for the Best slogan and Quiz
competition. The competition was organized at Malvani Utkarsh Vidyalaya, Malvani, Malad (W) on Sunday, 20th April.
