A new drive against an old enemy

To bring in the Worlds AIDS day on 1st December, Indian Development Foundation (IDF) and Vivek Education Society jointly organized a programme, at Vivek College of Commerce, Goregaon (W) to acknowledge the threat of AIDS and spread awareness about the same. The programme saw an attendance of around 300 youngsters, from all across Mumbai who proudly sported the symbolic red ribbons. The students assembled at Bedrock hall, on the Vivek College campus, to be addressed by the speakers for the day. The chief guest at the gathering was Wg. Cdr. Balasubramaniam, a veteran Indian Air Force Pilot who has now dedicated himself to a life of social service and is associated with IDF. The various speakers came from diverse backgrounds, in the form of various faculty members of Vivek College, Dr. Narayan Iyer; CEO of Indian Development Foundation and Sana Rupani; from the Rotary Club of Mumbai North End.
