Nielsen India in collaboration with Indian Development Foundation demonstrated their spectacular initiative to help poor and marginalised children across India through Nielsen Global Impact Day (02 June 2016). This is the fifth consecutive year of goodness and social impact by Nielsen in IDF projects.
Nielsen Global Impact Day - 2016: Nielsen Team visited St. Catherine's Home and School at Andheri (West), Mumbai, and two Bal Gurukuls - Navjeevan Bal Gurukul and Prakash Bal Gurukul @ Thane, as part of their Global Impact Day organized annually.
Indian Development Foundation's education and health projects were selected for the Nielsen Global Impact Day. The social champions from Nielsen visited social projects as part of their global social impact day. The visiting team distributed books, stationery items, food and gifts. The team spent a good amount of time with the children of IDF Bal Gurukuls and created a remarkable social impact.
Nielsen team comprising of all their staff members spent major part of the day with the children, interacting with children, playing games, distributing gifts and later serving food to them. At St. Catherine's School/ Home, the volunteers also did tree-plantation. At Thane Bal Gurukuls, the volunteers painted the school and made it bright.
Nielsen team demonstrated their care and concern for poor children through an imaginative method of corporate social responsibility. Nielsen is a pace setter for Indian's corporates !
IDF team of volunteers were visible everywhere giving shape to the event. Nielsens set the trend, let this be a path breaking step in India's corporate policy and behaviour ! Jai Ho, Nielsen Team !
