On World Environment Day 2011, the Rotary Club of Hiranandani Estate, Thane invited IDF team to address the Rotarians on the social responsibility initiatives of the Foundation.Dr. A.R.K.Pillai and Dr. Narayan B. Iyer spoke on the health, education and rural development projects of IDF carried out in India.
Rotarian President Shantanu Halder and Rotarian Madhu Menon (Secretary) appreciated the work of IDF and came forward to collaborate with IDF in a couple of social projects.
IDF and Rotary Club will be working on Cleanliness Drive and also on Gurukul projects in Thane area.
Mrs. Sangeeta Shetty, Principal, M.N.Bhatia High School, Kandivali was the special invitee for the social interaction session.
The President-Elect Rotarian M.H.Narasimhan exhorted the people to join hands for a cause and help in building a better civil society.
