Ingraham Institute and IDF has come together to start an Empowerment Class Programme for the benefit of the hearing impaired students studying in the Asha Vidyalaya, a unit of Ingraham Institute run in Ghaziabad. `Ingraham Bal Gurukul' will be the name of the empowerment class programme which will commence from next week.

Assisted by Mr. Tyagi from the Institute, Dr. Narayan visited Asha Vidyalaya and met the Principal Mr. M. R. Phatak who takes care of the special children.

Mr. Anurag Kishor, an MSW by profession and the Social Representative of Ingraham Institute will be the programme co-ordinator of `Ingraham Bal Gurukul'.

Earlier, Dr. Narayan had called on Ms. Arpana Ruth, Principal of Ingraham English School and Ms. Sampson, HM of the Primary Section.

Let us pray to God Almighty and see that we set a role model in the field of empowerment education, said Dr. Hepesh Shepherd.

I have been an alumni of Ingraham Institute for 14 years, starting right from my Nursery to 10+2 Education.
After reading this information on this site I feel extremely obliged to my School for helping the ONE's IN NEED.
This is not a new thing. When I was in school I too used to participate in all these activities regarding helping the needy. This has been a tradition here, & it does makes us a responsible social being.
No feeling could be as promising & rejuvinating in my life, I know, as being an alumni of this institution.
Im proud of my Institute.

Hi Sashi and Dr.Iyer,

Yes it is a good initiative a philanthropic effort to uplift the people around us. I am also a proud alumnus of Ingraham and was a part of the school during Madam Chowfin and Sir Jethro tenure. Once madam Chowfin shared a plan with me of planting Amaltash and Gulmohar trees around Ingraham to have combination of Yellow and Red flowering trees however now the same area has been encroached by hawkers till the boundary wall of our school.
I hope things would change in near future and we would continue to keep up the good work.
