IDF honours TN top student

Indian Development Foundation organised a special event to honour the student who scorred 2nd rank in Tamil Nadu in Standard X examinations held in March 2007. The event was held on 27th June 2007 in the School premises in Tirunelveli Dist.

Miss S. Jassima Sulaiha of Amali Girls Higher Secondary School at Cheranmadevi in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu scorred the 2nd rank in TN state.

Mr. C. Chidambaram, Manager-Southern Region, IDF congratulated the student for scorring 489 marks out of 500. Jassima should be a role model for several other students. Despite several odds, Jassima took the challenge and reached the pinnacle, Mr. Chidambaram quoted with an appreciative note.

Excellent support from my Principal Rev. Sr. and encouragement from my teachers helped me to prepare for the exam in a systematic manner. I am grateful to God Almighty for bringing this laurel to me, expresed Jassima with a smile.

Rev. Sr. Principal appreciated the efforts of Jassima and congratulated her for achieving the 2nd position in TN state. It is really a creditable effort from her part and for bringing glory to her school.

Mr. S. Arumainayagam, Voluntary Officer of IDF also present in the presentation ceremony congratulated Jassima and wished for more success in her future career.

IDF team presented cash award and a couple of books of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam to Jassima in the august assembly of students.

Jassima Sulaiha thanked IDF for the wonderful presentation and wished every success in its national efforts.


For readers information, Miss S. Akshaya from St. Mary's Girls Hr. Sec. School, Chengalpattu in Kancheepuram District, TN scorred the first rank in the state with 490 marks.
