Kochon Prize 2007

Building on the successful experience of 2006, the Stop TB Partnership and the Kochon Foundation are pleased to announce nominations are open for the 2007 Stop TB Partnership Kochon Prize.

The Prize is awarded by the Stop TB Partnership Kochon Prize Selection Committee, on behalf of the Coordinating Board, to persons, institutions or organizations, which have made a major contribution to stopping tuberculosis.

Deadline and eligibility

Recognized national health bodies of WHO Member States, Stop TB partners and former recipients of the Prize are welcome to put forward nominations before March 24th, World TB Day, 2007. Nominees should have significant and documented achievements in the formulation and implementation of a system or policy for anti-tuberculosis programmes or in the fields of TB research, advocacy, education or training for the prevention of tuberculosis.
