The school team under the able leadership of Mrs.Amarpreet Kaur as the Interact Club Co-ordinator have rendered an excellent support to IDF humanitarian programmes. Interact Club President Apoorva (class 9) and Vice President Karanvir (class 9) motivated the students to participate in social programmes. The schoolteam within a short period of just 3 weeks have voluntarily mobilised a handsome amount for Indian Development Foundation.
Apoorva and Karanvir spoke on behalf of the club and other students of Bhavan Vidyalaya and expressed their happiness for getting a golden opportunity serving the society at large even at a young age. We wish to become young social ambassadors of IDF and continue our support for years to come. At the august gathering of all the students on 6th Feb. 2009, the Interact Club Members presented the donation amount to Dr. Narayan B. Iyer, national co-ordinator of IDF.
Addressing the assembly, Dr. Narayan Iyer expressed his sincere thanks to the Bhavanites for supporting leprosy/ TB programmes.
