Helping hands from Vibgyor High

The 10th grade students of Vibgyor High, Goregaon (West), Mumbai organised a fun-fair in their school as part of their student social responsibility cell.

The students with their innovative ideas organised a fun-fair in the school campus and mobilised resources to support the poor and the needy. They received overwhelming response from their schoolmates and parents who witnessed the event.
Though there is a lot of fun in the event, but at the back of our mind we were committed to serve a cause. We feel happy that we could be part of the social responsibility programme and mobilise resources for the underprivileged, the participating students said.

Mr. Shim Mathew, Principal of the school congratulated the students for their novel ideas and appreciated the students concern for the society.

Dr. Narayan B. Iyer, national co-ordinator of IDF thanked the students as he received the donation cheque for the care and welfare of the students in IDF Bal Gurukuls. He wished more schools emulate such wonderful social responsibility programmes and help in empowering the underprivileged children.
