IDF celebrates New Year in GREMALTES Hospital.

On the New Year Day, Indian Development Foundation organised a citizen reach out programme at GREMALTES Hospital Chennai.

IDF Social Ambassador Mrs. Siva Kamakshi mobilized  materials for the event and the same were distributed to the inmates of the hospital. She exhorted citizens to come forward and support humanitarian causes. New Year and other festive occasion provides an opportunity to spread happiness and reachout people. I am extremely happy to be part of this goodness journey; spreading happiness all-around, expressed Mrs. Kamakshi.

 Mr. Sreeram spoke about various humanitarian programme organised by IDF for the welfare of sick and underprivileged throughout India. He also appreciated the good work carried out by GREMALTES Hospital for the deserving people. He complimented Mr. Pius Kalathil, Director of the Hospital and other other staff members for the excellent work. Earlier Mr. Paul Kalap, Counselor, GREMALTES Hospital welcomed the gathering. Mr. Sathyamurthy and Ms. Anusha Lakshmanan ( MSW student from Madras School of Social Work) participated and spoke in the programme.

The leprosy-affected persons undergoing treatment at GREMALTES expressed their happiness as they received gifts during the start of the New Year. Mr. Sreenivasalu, Health Educator, GREMALTES proposed a vote of thanks.
