An icon of humility

It is no exaggeration to state, if there is anyone who could leave an everlasting impact on the minds of social organizations like National Rural Health Mission or Task Force on Health and Family welfare he could be none other than Dr Hanumappa Sudarshan the world reputed social worker. Whose work among the tribal soliga children has touched the hearts and attention of the nation. He was born in Yemalur, on the outskirts of the city of Bangalore on December 30 1950. He graduated from the Bangalore Medical College in 1973. He joined the health institutions of Ramkrishna mission which took him to the Himalayas of UP, Belur Math and West Bengal and Ponnampet in Karnataka as part of the job.................
