Abraham Samuel appreciates IDF work

It is noteworthy that Indian Development Foundation (IDF) is doing an excellent work in sponsoring a large number of poor and underprivileged children in various states in India, said Mr. Abraham Samuel, IDF Social Ambassador in Bahrain. With the opening of the new academic year the number of sponsorships has really gone up and it is a matter of great satisfaction for the people to come forward and support such noble cause, he added. Mr. Abraham Samuel was speaking to a select group of social workers in Mumbai on Tuesday. I am indeed very happy to associate with IDF and make the dream of universal education in India possible through NGO efforts. I am happy that NRIs from Bahrain have lent their support to IDF and it is my ardent desire that more NRIs join in supporting educational programmes of IDF, Mr. Abraham commented with a smile.

Mr. Abraham said that his discussions with Dr. A.R.K. Pillai, President, IDF and Dr. Narayan B. Iyer, CEO & National Co-ordinator were useful. IDF team apprised on the national activites of the Foundation to Mr. Abraham and congratulated him for his support and participation. I always carry a load of compassion while i return back to my work in Bahrain. It's really a great feeling to support the underprivileged in the society, Mr. Abraham opined.
Dr. Narayan Iyer presented a copy of the book `Hope on the Horizon' - a biography of Dr.A.R.K.Pillai to Mr. Abraham Samuel.
