Wheelchair Distribution at Tirupattur

Indian Development Foundation joined hands with Sneha Educational Trust, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Tirupattur and YMCA in organising a seminar on Human Rights on 20th Nov. 2008 at YMCA BM Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Tirupattur.


Mr. Hanish Chhabra IAS, Sub-Collector, Tirupattur inaugurated the Seminar and congratulated the organisers for taking excellent initiative in reaching out the physically challenged persons.

Later tricycles were distributed to the physically challenged persons at the hands of the Chief Guest.

Guests of Honour included - Mrs. Chokammal Tulasinathan, Chairman, Tirupatut Municipality - Mr. K. M. Subramanian, Chairman IIPA - Tirupattur, Mr. S. Gunasekaran, Executive Secretary, YMCA BM Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Tirupattur - Prof. A. Stanislaus, Principal, YMCA BM School and Mr. Prakasam, President, Anti-corruption Movement, Tirupattur.

Dr. K. Padmanabhan, Trustee, Sneha Educational Trust for Disabled, Tirupattur and Mr. R. Settu, Co-ordinator (TN & Pondy), Indian Development Foundation co-ordinated the event.
