Merry Christmas Greetings from Podar IB

Festive occasion gives us an opportunity to make resolutions in life. Christmas and New Year are such wonderful events when people can come together and share joy and happiness, expressed Dr. Vandana Lulla, Director of Podar International School (IB).

Dr. Narayan B. Iyer, National Co-ordinator, IDF said that happiness can be multiplied when you divide it with others. Let’s resolve to spread goodness everywhere and make festive occasions more meaningful, he added.

Podar International School (IB) has been tied up with Indian Development Foundation for it Creativity Action and Service (CAS) activities. Podarities through CAS programmes have helped IDF projects and created social transformation.

Mrs. Shahina Momin, PYP Co-ordinator and Mrs. Sarala Gavane, CAS Co-ordinator joined Dr. Narayan in preparing the year-long CAS programme for 2009-2010. CAS activities will include `Shiksha’ and `Rahat’ as main theme which will help the society at large. Students As Learning Partners (SALP) and Teachers Empowerment Programme will also form part of Podar CAS activities.

Podar IB school is committed to the social programmes of IDF. Our students will certainly make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged people through the well-designed CAS activities, said the school Co-ordinators.

Santa Claus did make his presence, cheered up the students presenting gifts and wished them A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
