The NGID program at Drona Foundation ,Dharavi was sponsored by Nielsen India in partnership with Indian Development Foundation on 11th May 2017 in Mumbai. MS Afsana Shaikh a team member of the Indian Development foundation facilitated this program
This program's reach was for nearly 90 children from the age group of 7 to 14 years . Exciting educational quiz session was conducted on Nutrition, Health, Career thereby challenging their thoughts and imparting knowledge . In a fun way. a drawing competition was organised whereby the Nielsen volunteers gave themes like Cartoon Characters,Nature,Save the Environment to the children and facilitated the drawing by giving clues. So much joy with colours.
What is life without song and dance. Children sang with gusto and danced with great joy .
After the exhilarating session a delicious meal was served and an awesome takeaway of notebooks and compass box to all the children for the academic year was given. Children were super excited and are looking forward already for the next year's program
