Students from KGS Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya visited IDF for an empowerment class. Life- coach Mr.Gaurang Shukla led the team supported by the interns (Kriya and Radhika) from J.D.Birla Institute, Kolkata took a journey to the world of English. Dr.ARK Pillai and Dr. Narayan Iyer motivated the young minds.

Poorna - Courage has no limit

Students of KGS Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Malad, Mumbai were shown the movie Poorna, a story of an adivasi 13-year-old from Telangana who become the youngest girl in history to climb Mount Everest.

Students were thrilled to see the motivational movie at the PVR Cinema. Thanks to the special ticket arrangements by IDF Social Ambassador Jainam Shah & his team, transport arrangement by IDF's iDiscover Team and student co-ordination by Principal Dr. Latha Venkat, assisted by her teacher Ms. Sapna Sharma.

Mentors moved the minds...

IDF SLP Certificate Day for the mentors from DSIMS - Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies. The PGDBM and MMS students from DSIMS volunteered for the Student Leadership Programme and churned out student leaders in different schools in Malwani, Mumbai. The volunteers received Certificate of Appreciation for their great social work.

The real gift for the mentors was when they heard the five students from St. Mathew's High School & Junior College and Sir J.R. School in Malwani walked up to the stage and gave their impressions. It was indeed a great statisfying moment for the volunteers who witnessed the flawless speech of the students.

Master Tanpai and Dr. O.P. Yadav, Editor, Doordarshan (News) met Team IDF and DSIMS on 13-04-2017 and discussed on various social development projects. Gurukul gets a Cooler

Yash Technologies Hyderabad donated a water cooler to IDF YASH ASBP BAL GURUKUL on 03-04-2017. Yash CSR team led by Ms. Ankita Sinha and 10 more members came to the Bal Gurukul and did the presentation. The Principal, teachers and students expressed their thanks to YASH & IDF.

The event was co-ordinated by Mr. Sanjay Ram, Project Co-ordinator, IDF.

Teaching English at Madrassa...

Vishnu, Mohit and Pratik , interned with IDF for 3 months, teaching English to boys in a Madarssa at Andheri. Team IDF appreciate the great work of these boys. The journey of goodness continues with the second lot of interns.
