National Conference - TV 2035 - Day2 (30-09-16)

Technology, Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) in association with Indian Development Foundation (IDF) and Oakridge International School organized a two-day national conference on Technology Vision 2035 on 29th and 30th September 2016 at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The pics attached are day2 Conference held on 30th September 2016.

TIFAC, an autonomous body under the department of Science & Technology, Govt. Of India and  the technology Think Tank of India, projects the trajectory and trends of technology and the recent document released by the Prime Minister and captures the technological state of India and Indians for the year 2035.

The participants in the conference included educationists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industries, associations, state govt. officials, S&T council, research institutes, NGOs, policy makers and students.

The prerogatives included for discussions were Information Communication and Technology (ICT), Education and Safe and Speedy Mobility.

Dr. Gautam Goswami, Head, TV 2035 and Dr. N. C. Chauhan, Registrar, TIFAC explained the roadmap of Technology Vision 2035 and led the plenary sessions.  Mr. Sanjay Ram, Dr. Narayan Iyer and Dr. S. Franklin along with Team IDF co-ordinated the conference.

National Conference - TV2035 @ Hyderabad

The conference focussed on medical and healthcare, quality education, information communication & technology (ICT) and safety & mobility.  The Medical and Health Care Document was released on 29 Sept. at the hands of the Chief Guest Shri Y.S.Chowdary, Minister of State, Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairman of TIFAC and former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India lead the panelists and eminent experts towards Technology Vision 2035.

The participants in the conference included educationists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industries, associations, state govt. officials, S&T council, research institutes, NGOs, policy makers and students.

Dr. Prabhat Ranjan, Executive Director, TIFAC and Dr. Gautam Goswami, Head, TV 2035 explained the roadmap of Technology Vision 2035.  Dr. A.P. Jayaraman, Mr. Sanjay Ram, Dr. Narayan Iyer along with Team IDF co-ordinated the conference.

Painting colors of Happinez

A group 20 students from International school of Hyderabad , ICRISAT, Patancheru, Hyderabad.

Along with three faculty members visited IDF Railway(colony) High school Bal gurukul located at Chilkalguda, Secundrabad and painted the class rooms. 

They came fully loaded with paints, brushes, sand papers, etc and did a wonderful job.
In addition to painting the class rooms, the students also interacted with the Bal gurukul children.

The other way round , the students of the Bal gurukul thanked the ISH students with hand made paper flowers.

The students of D.J.Sanghvi College of Engineering received the IDF Award of Excellence for 2015-16 for their excellent support to IDF Bal Gurukul projects through Mission W2K. 
(mobilizing old newspapers/ books/ magazines for a cause) and help students get their best of education.

IDF supports health/ education projects (09-09-2016 - Jaipur)

IDF Grants/ Awards Function for northern/ eastern regions was held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Jaipur on 9th of Sept. 2016.
 Shri D.R. Mehta, Founder and Chief Patron, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (Jaipurfoot) was the Chief Guest for the event.
Guests of Honour included - Shri P.D.Singh, Chairman, Tagore Group of Institutions - Ms. Meeta Shama, Principal, Mody School - Ms. P. Kachhwaha, Principal, Bhavan's Vidyashram - Shri Suresh Kaul, President, SMK.

Student Exchange Program@Hyderabad

A Student exchange program was organized on 08 September 2016 for the students of class 9th and 10th  of Delhi school of excellence, Attapur with the students of class 8th,9th and 10th of ASBP at the Andhra sawaswati Balika Patashala at Feelkhana, Hyderabad.

Two sessions took place where exchange of knowledge as well as fun was noticed the topics being 'Pollution and Global warming' for one batch and 'Water Conservation' for the other .

GLRA India celebrating 50 Golden Years......

Prof. MS Swaminathan, father of the Green Revolution in India and Chief Guest at GLRA @ 50 spoke on love, compassion and giving.On 3rd September 2016.

He paid fitting tribute to Mother Teresa's role in humanitarian work. Professor acknowledged GLRA's work in leprosy elimination and Dr.ARK Pillai's (founder of Indian Development Foundation) solid participation in the early days of national leprosy commission.

With concerted efforts from various NGOs and govt bodies, leprosy and TB eradication seems an achievable dream and such diseases will only been found in dictionary.

IDF Foundation Day was organized on 01-09-2016 at Bhakti Kalakshetra Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai.  Chief Guest - Dr. Vinod Sahni (Distinguished Scientist) and  Guests of Honour were Dr. Vandana Lulla (Director - Podar Group of Institutions), Dr. C.
